Level Up Banners: Dwarf Faction
Each playable race had a few UI elements custom to their stylistic look and few. The dwarves were fond of knots and braids, geometric elements, and warmer, earthy tones. I composited some assets given to us by WETA (like borders and sigils) and integrated them into the UI, handpainting additional details as needed. Layout of banner and concept are mine. Avatar art by team member.

Level Up Banners: Elf Faction

The elves liked to use sinuous, organic shapes with an almost art nouveau feel. The thornier styles of borders come from the Mirkwood elves, in particular. I composited some assets given to us by WETA (like borders and sigils) and integrated them into the UI, handpainting additional details such as the tassels as needed. Layout of banner and concept are mine. Avatar art by team member.

Level Up Banners: Orc Faction

Each playable race had a few UI elements custom to their stylistic look and feel. The orcs, by far the most brutal of Middle Earth races, used animal skins and blood as motifs. I composited some assets given to us by WETA (like borders and sigils) and integrated them into the UI, handpainting additional details as needed. Layout of banner and concept are mine. Avatar art by team member.

Leaderboard Modal

A mockup for tournament leaderboards. The medallions at the top are handpainted by me. I composited the background from character art (created by team members) and laid out the modal.
Resource Transfer Modal  (with HUD Elements in the Background)
This is a modal for transferring resources between cities. Laid out and designed by me. You can also see the general look and feel of our HUD in the background. We wanted the modal backgrounds to remind one of Bilbo's diary, written on the road, there and back again. Elements like the eagles and various icons (with the exception of our little Gollum) were painted by me. (Avatar painted by a team member.)
Welcome Screen Modal (Layout and Design)
I designed the modal itself, laid it out, and composited the character and background art together and gave them a textural treatment to make them look more like a storybook watercolour illustration. (Character art by Daarken. Rivendell art by team member. Design and layout by me.)
Mail and Battle Report Modal

This was a content heavy modal with a lot of information that needed to be conveyed with two similar formats. Here I am showing the Battle Reports, that show the loot acquired, the units killed, who attacked, who won, and how to retaliate.

Battle report art by Sean O'Daniel. Layout, compositing, design by me.
